Description: You will be a member of the a team supporting a variety of data engineering, analysis, and automation efforts. You will design, develop, and integrate solutions involving the analysis of large data sets to establish mission cognizance and deliver mission-centric insights. Customer is looking for full time employee (FTE) with development knowledge or experience in programming language (Java, Python, etc.) and ability to pick up new skills as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Find mission intelligence data and integrate it into an existing platform.
- Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets.
- Design and implement data workflows to convert and normalize data.
- Augment the platform with new tools or technologies.
- Create visualizations and dashboards using Kibana or other metric tools.
- Elicit requirements from stakeholders
Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of software development in Java or Python.
- Experience with one or more data engineering platforms (e.g., Apache NiFi, AirFlow).
- Familiarity with Git for software version control.
- Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar wiki/requirements type tools.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Elastic products for data storage, search, presentation (Elasticsearch, Kibana).
- Knowledge of Front End UX development.
- Knowledge of map-reduce analytic environments (e.g., Hadoop, GM, GMLearn).
- Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
- Experience with production CNO (Computer Network Operations) capabilities and operations.
YOE Requirement: 8 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
